From SQL to GPT: Understanding the Data-Driven Economy
Data assets are becoming one of the most important corporate asset classes. Data Driven Dollars explores how these assets power both legacy and emerging business models—and how their integration into the economy is reshaping markets, consumer behavior, and society itself.
As software and AI increasingly permeate business and everyday life, more of our personal and professional experiences are captured digitally. This explosion of digital data, combined with advances in predictive and generative AI, creates both opportunities for new models and threats to established ones. Data and AI strategies are now central to business strategy. The ability to acquire, distill, retain, analyze, and activate data is a unique skill set—and building businesses around data assets is a discipline of its own.
This course covers both the theoretical and practical aspects of acquiring, managing, and monetizing data assets. It also examines how the rise of data-centric business models is changing not just how companies operate, but how individuals interact with institutions and with each other.
